Vince Chandler oversees the Peace Missionary Baptist Church music ministry by coordinating music for all worship services as well as special services and engagements. He oversees administrative functions of the music ministry to include recommending the onboarding of full and part-time musicians, special guest musicians and/or vocalists. In addition, he encourages music staff to conduct choir rehearsals promptly on a weekly basis in order to utilize time productively.
Vince teaches voice control and techniques to choir members, promotes choir decorum, and vocal musical presentation. He serves as a resource to the volunteer assistant choir directors of the music ministry by scheduling workshops that promote consistency in directing techniques, and directors’ etiquette.
Previously, he has served as Minister of Music and/or Associate Minister of Music in the community at the following churches over the years since 1991: Kyles Temple AME Zion Church, Community Baptist Church, Antioch Baptist Church, and Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church.
