Clarence Harding

Asst. Director of Music

Clarence Harding, Assistant Music Director for Peace Missionary Baptist Church, comes from a family with four generations of musicians and singers. Clarence learned to play bass guitar at age nine and piano at age eleven, using his talents to support his home church Mt. Olive AME Zion Church in Washington, NC. Following in the footsteps of his father, a noted pianist and jazz guitarist in Eastern North Carolina, Clarence became a sought-after musician.

Traveling around the world full-time for seven years, his music ministry has touched many lives throughout the United States, Canada, Bahamas, Jamaica, Turks & Caicos, Grand Cayman, and England. Over the years, he has also had the pleasure of working with some of gospel’s finest artists and pastors, including Bishop Paul Morton, Marvin Sapp, Shirley Caesar, Hezekiah Walker, William Murphy and many others. He has served over 25 years as minister of music or music director for some of the premier churches in the greater Raleigh-Durham and Triad areas and on national platforms such as TBN, The Word Network, INSP, Bishop TD Jakes Manpower Conference, and Rod Parsley’s Camp-Meeting Conference.

Currently, Clarence is also the entrepreneur owner of M4 Media, one of the Triangle’s up and coming digital signage, audio video and lighting solutions companies serving North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia. He is also a devoted husband and father to his wife Nikki Harding and son Stephon Cotton.
